EKSISTENSI BAHASA INDONESIA DI LINGKUNGAN MASYARAKAT CURAH JERU TENGAH

Abstract
Bahasa ialah sistem lambang bunyi yang digunakan manusia untuk berkomunikasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penggunaan bahasa indonesia di masyarakat indonesia masih banyak yang belum begitu fasih dan benar khususnya di Desa Curah Jeru Tengah. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara langsung kepada warga dan kepala dusun yang dilakukan selama 2 hari. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, kami mendapat jawaban atas kurangnya penggunaan bahasa Indonesia di desa ini, yang berarti masih tergolong rendah dan minim. Menurut hasil wawancara yang kami lakukan, faktor dari rendah dan minimnya penggunaan bahasa indonesia di desa ini disebabkan oleh keterbatasannya pengetahuan tentang penggunaan bahasa indonesia yang fasih dan benar, juga sudah terbiasanya menggunakan bahasa madura. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh terbesar penggunaan dan perkembangan suatu bahasa adalah penutur bahasa itu sendiri dan lingkungan yang dapat mempengaruhi dalam berkomunikasi sehari-hari.
