PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA KELAS VIII A PADA MATERI TEKANAN

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi Tekanan di kelas VIII MTsN 5 Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) menggunakan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 27 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes pretest dan posttest. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 26. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas, data tidak berdistribusi normal sehingga pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan posttest setelah penerapan model PBL dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi Tekanan.
