PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN SITUASIONAL TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KINERJA GURU DALAM MENGHADAPI TANTANGAN PENDIDIKAN MODERN DI SMPN 4 SENTANI

Abstract
Studi ini menyelidiki pengaruh kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMPN 4 Sentani dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan kontemporer. Dengan diterapkannya kebijakan belajar bebas, guru diharapkan memperoleh fleksibilitas lebih dalam mengajar. Namun, berbagai hambatan, seperti keterbatasan teknologi dan kurangnya instruksi, masih menjadi kendala. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-korelasional serta metode campuran. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 23 guru yang dipilih secara keseluruhan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan situasional kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja guru. Gaya kepemimpinan yang fleksibel dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan guru menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih kondusif serta meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran. Namun, kendala seperti keterbatasan fasilitas teknologi dan kurangnya pelatihan berkelanjutan masih ditemukan. Oleh karena itu, sekolah disarankan untuk lebih proaktif dalam menyediakan pelatihan bagi guru dan kepala sekolah serta meningkatkan infrastruktur pendidikan guna mendukung efektivitas pembelajaran
