Abstrak
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan metode Group Investigation dengan bantuan media nyata pada mata pelajaran IPA materi Pesawat Sederhana untuk siswa kelas V semester II di SDN V Arjasa tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Siswa kelas V di SDN V Arjasa berjumlah 9 orang. Terdiri dari 4 siswa laki-laki dan 5 siswa perempuan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah silabus, RPP, dan Lembar Kerja Siswa. Data-data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini diperoleh melalui proses wawancara dengan guru wali kelas V mengenai proses belajar siswa selama ini. Bagaimana mengajak siswa untuk mampu aktif dan kreatif saat proses belajar mengajar berlangsung. Data juga diperoleh melalui hasil observasi penerapan metode Group Investigation dan tes formatif khusus mata pelajaran IPA materi Pesawat Sederhana untuk siswa-siswi kelas V di SDN V Arjasa Kecamatan Arjasa Kabupaten Situbondo. Data penunjang lainnya yaitu catatan lapangan serta foto kegiatan yang sedang dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas sebanyak 2 siklus. Siklus I terdiri dari tahap identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Siklus II terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas V di SDN V Arjasa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi Pesawat Sederhana mengalami peningkatan dan memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimum serta dinyatakan tuntas secara klasikal.
