ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MINAT MEMBACA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract
Minat membaca merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan keberhasilan belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Namun, minat membaca siswa masih tergolong rendah karena dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang berasal dari dalam maupun luar diri siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat membaca siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi dengan melibatkan guru kelas dan siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat membaca siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal berupa motivasi belajar, kebiasaan membaca, rasa ingin tahu, dan kemampuan membaca. Sementara itu, faktor eksternal meliputi dukungan orang tua, strategi pembelajaran guru, ketersediaan bahan bacaan, fasilitas perpustakaan, lingkungan sekolah, teman sebaya, serta penggunaan media digital yang berlebihan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan minat membaca memerlukan sinergi antara sekolah, guru, keluarga, dan masyarakat dalam membangun budaya literasi yang berkelanjutan sehingga mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.
